Online Data Privacy Statement of the Carl-Cranz-Gesellschaft e.V. (CCG)

1. General information

Carl-Cranz-Gesellschaft e.V. places great value on the protection of personal data. The collection, storage, and processing of personal data occurs in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).  We have obligated all employees of the CCG as well as carefully selected service companies to maintain confidentiality and to comply with the data protection regulations.

2. Technical implementation

Our web server and content management system is operated by WehostOne GmbH, Mumpferfährstraße 68, 79713 Bad Säckingen, The design, implementation, and functionality of the website is provided by Kubus Software GmbH, Oderstr. 7, 84453 Mühldorf,

3. Logging

When you call up our website, data is sent to our web server via your Internet browser data. This is not a specific function of our website; this data is likewise generated when accessing any other website on the Internet. The following data is recorded during an active connection for communication between your Internet browser and our web server:

Date and time of the request

Name of the requested file

Page, from which the file was requested

Access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.)

Browser used and operating system used

Complete IP address of the requesting computer

Transferred quantity of data

When you end the connection to the website, the recording is also ended.

Personal data that you actively communicate to us during your visit to our website is collected, stored, and processed for the purpose of execution of seminar bookings and the associated services (see number 6).

4. Cookies

When accessing this Internet offering, we will save cookies (small files) on your hard disk that remain valid until the end of the session. We use these cookies only to identify you during this visit to our website. Among other things cookies offer the advantage that the web server can allocate the individual call-ups of your visit. Most browsers are set in such a manner that they accept the use of cookies, however through the settings of the Internet browser you can switch off this function for the active session or you can switch off this function permanently.

However, the following services can only be used if you give us the possibility of storing cookies:

5. Active components

JavaScript is used as an active component in the CCG's information offering. You can switch-off this function through the settings of your Internet browser

6. Booking seminars online

During the ordering and booking process, we collect, store and process personal data for the purpose of booking seminars (initiation, transaction, and reverse transaction) and for the associated services (backup of the correspondence between you and us). Likewise we use the data, anonymized of course, for statistical purposes, in order to optimize our offering (e.g. how many visitors were on the website in a given month? What were the most frequent search terms used for seminar searches?). It is not possible to derive data about your person.

In this regard your data is encrypted via software (SSL) and transmitted securely. This is indicated by the symbol of a closed padlock in the address bar of your browser. Our website is protected against damage, destruction, and unauthorized access through technical measures.

Without your consent the CCG will not use your personal data for purposes of advertising or opinion research.

Personal data that you share with us for transacting ordering procedures can be stored for up to 12 years for trade law and tax law reasons.

You can conveniently select and book seminars online. We hereby inform you that for online bookings you will receive the registration confirmation via email.

7. Electronic post (email) and use of the contact forms

For inquiries, you can use our contact form, which is SSL-encrypted and thus safeguarded against third-party access.

If you send us an email or a message via the contact form, then we will only collect, store, and process your data to the extent necessary for the processing of your inquiry and for our correspondence with you. We handle your data in compliance with the provisions of the German Data Protection Law and always implement the greatest possible precautions for your security. At any time you can obtain information concerning the data that we have stored relating to your person at:

Information that you send to us via electronic post (email) may possibly be read by third parties on the transmission path. As a rule we cannot verify your identity and do not know who is concealed behind an email address. If you want to send sensitive documents to us we recommend that you send the message via conventional mail.

Like many email providers, we use filters to safeguard against undesired advertising ("spam filters"), which in rare cases also wrongfully classify and delete normal emails automatically as undesired advertising. In every case we delete emails that contain harmful programs ("viruses").

8. Double opt-in for the newsletter

The email addresses for newsletter distribution are stored and are used only for the sending of the newsletter to which you have subscribed. For this we use the so-called double opt-in procedure.

With the double opt-in procedure, after ordering the newsletter on our website, new subscribers to our newsletter receive a confirmation mail, which is then sent to the email address specified by the new subscriber. Only after the new subscriber confirms with his/her response that the newsletter has been ordered, will the newsletter be sent to this email address.

You can end the sending of a/the newsletter at any time yourself.

You can revoke your consent to the sending of the newsletter or to the use of your email address at any time and without specifying reasons. On our website you will find a link that enables you to easily do this.

You have the possibility of unsubscribing from the CCG Newsletter at any time and without special costs, without specifying reasons.

9. Google Maps

Google Maps is integrated in our website so that you can better plan your route to us and to your seminar (particularly after Oberpfaffenhofen). When you use these maps, e.g. by clicking on the map and planning a route, we do not record any data whatsoever. It may be that the company Google records your data. 10. Right to information & right of revocation

At any time you can obtain information, free of charge, concerning your data that we have stored. At any time you can request that we block, correct or delete your data that we have collected.
